Honest Jon's Records is releasing the first project of this outstanding minimal/experimental techno experts trio: Vertical Ascent. The trio is led by Moritz Von Oswald (aka Basic Channel, Main Street, Chain Reaction and Rhythm & Sound with Mark Ernestus) on synth and sampler experiments, with Max Loderbauer (formerly of Sun Electric and now one half of NSI with Tobias Freund) on analogue synthetizer, and Sasu Ripatti (better known as Vladislav Delay and Luomo) on drums and percussion.
